I’ll say it upfront now: I’m a polyamorous babe who enjoys a lot of company so I hope you don’t mind sharing my shade with yucca moths, woodrats, Scott’s Orioles, desert night lizards, and yes, the ladder-backed woodpeckers 😉 I believe a symbiotic way of life is the only sustainable one, and I have plenty of admirers who agree. 

As far as looks go, I have a face that has launched a thousand trips, but my spikes are a warning. I’m the kind of tree that boys like Aleister Crowley hope will lead them to power, only to discover that I’m far more into ego annihilation.

I believe age is just a number, and you won’t be able to tell mine based on growth rings (but I’m older and wiser than my appearance suggests). I’m looking for someone who will take initiative while respecting my wisdom and resilience. You don’t get to live to 150 in these conditions without some tenacity.
